NEXUS

Predict failures. Reduce costs. Protect assets.

The technical intelligence platform for superyachts. This is a guided tour of every screen — what it shows, and how the crew actually uses it.

The problem

Four people. Four versions of the same blind spot.

Every one of them is working from information that is real, current and completely out of reach at the moment they need it.

Chief Engineer

50+ manuals per vessel

The answer exists, on page 212 of a PDF, and it cannot be found with dirty hands in the engine room.

Operations Manager

Spreadsheets don't predict

They document failures after the fact — and after the bill arrives.

Captain

Critical information lives below deck

The decisions get made above it, from a summary that is already a day old.

Vessel Owner

Legacy software bills first

A five-figure setup fee, months of onboarding, and years before anyone sees a return.

What it is

Your vessel's intelligence centre.

Modern vessel operations generate an enormous amount of technical information, scattered across systems that don't talk to each other. Finding the right answer takes hours, and unexpected failures turn into costly downtime.

NEXUS turns operational data into actionable intelligence.

By centralising documentation, maintenance history and daily readings into one AI-powered platform, NEXUS helps crews decide faster, prevent failures, and keep complete visibility over every asset — while lowering what it costs to run the boat.

01 — Dashboard

The morning check.

Where everyone lands. Six numbers that tell you whether today is a normal day, and every one of them is a shortcut into the work behind it.

Every card is a shortcut. Clicking Overdue Jobs opens Maintenance already filtered to overdue work — you never search for what you just saw.
The bars are clickable and the period is adjustable from 30 days to all time. Pick a month to read every job carried out in it.
Export Excel, Full Backup and Sync sit in the header — the vessel's data is always one click from leaving in a file you hold.

02 — AI Technical Assistant

Ask the manuals, in plain English.

The part no other platform has. Instead of hunting through a 400-page PDF, ask — and get the answer with the file and page it came from.

Ask a real question, not keywords — "what's the oil change interval on the port generator" works better than "oil interval".
Ask in the language you think in. The manuals stay in theirs.
If the manuals don't cover it, NEXUS says so rather than filling the gap with a guess. An answer you can't trace is worse than no answer in an engine room.

03 — Components

The whole vessel, as a tree.

The backbone everything else hangs off. Jobs, readings, documents and spend all attach to a node in here, which is why it comes before the work.

Clicking any item opens its panel: service history, scheduled jobs, hour meters, the manuals linked to that machine, and the full specification sheet.
Engineers can add components; only officers rename, move or delete one. The tree is deliberately easier to extend than to reshape.
Drag to reorder or re-parent. The order you set is the order the whole crew sees.

04 — Maintenance

What's due, what's late, what's done.

Scheduled against running hours or the calendar — whichever comes first — so a job that only matters after 500 hours doesn't nag you in month three.

Closing a job asks for the hours on the meter and any parts used — and deducts that stock from Inventory for you, so the two never drift apart.
You can log a service done last week with last week's hour reading. Backdating doesn't roll the machine's current meter backwards.
Work is assigned to a function, not a person — Chief Engineer, Engineer, Captain or Chief Officer. Crew rotate; the responsibility does not, so "Assigned to me" keeps working after a crew change.
Handover Report turns any date range into the document the next engineer actually needs — in one click, not one evening.

05 — Engine Room Log

The daily round, in under a minute.

Every pressure, temperature and level for a machine on one screen — and checked against that machine's own history the moment you save.

Normal ranges are yours to set. Thresholds mode makes every minimum and maximum editable in place — it is what drives the alarms.
Twin machines cross-check each other. Two engines drifting together means the operating point changed; one drifting alone is a fault.
Running Hours feeds the same engine — the meter reading you log here is what every service interval counts against.

06 — Analytics

Where it's heading, not just where it is.

The Dashboard tells you today. Analytics tells you what two years of hours and history imply about the next three months.

Cost tracking and oil analysis live on the same page — spend per month, and what the lab said about the last sample.
AI Suggestions is the companion screen: NEXUS reads the manufacturer manuals and proposes the preventive tasks they call for, for an officer to approve or reject.

07 — Documents

Where the manuals live.

This is what feeds everything above. Upload a manual once and it becomes searchable by the AI, linkable to a component, and quotable with a page number.

Tabs and folders are yours to define — add "Certificates" or "Deck", rename them, drag one folder inside another. Only Manuals is locked, because the AI refers to it by name.
A document linked to a component shows up on that machine's panel, so the manual is where the machine is.

The rest of the toolkit

Everything else the boat needs, in the same place.

Nobody learns these on day one. They're here for the day the job calls for them.

AI Suggestions

Charts

Oil and fluid reference for every machine, with capacity comparisons.

Notes

Complete reference

Every screen, in one place.

The tour above is the walkthrough. This is the lookup: what each screen is for, what you actually do there, and who is allowed to do it. Search it rather than scroll it.

Who sees what

The same boat, filtered by the job.

Role decides what appears in the menu and what can be changed. Pick one to see the vessel the way that person sees it.

Getting started

Operational in a day.

No IT team. No months of configuration. Three steps, done in an afternoon alongside the crew that will use it.

01

Upload the manuals

PDFs of your engines, generators, watermakers — any equipment documentation. NEXUS indexes them in minutes to build this vessel's own searchable brain.

02

Import your history

CSV or Excel of the maintenance log you already keep. Years of records land in seconds, and health scoring starts working immediately.

03

Install on the phone

Open it on a phone and add it to the home screen. It behaves like a native app, works in the engine room, and pushes critical alerts.

Intelligence you can trust

An answer you can't trace is worse than no answer.

Especially at 3 a.m. with an alarm going. Everything below exists so nobody has to take the software's word for it.

Grounding

  • Answers come only from this vessel's documents — never from general knowledge
  • Every response cites the source manual and page number
  • It abstains when the documentation doesn't cover the question
  • Full maintenance traceability — who logged what, when, at how many hours

Security & durability

  • Row-level isolation — one vessel's data can never reach another
  • Role-based permissions enforced server-side, not just hidden in the interface
  • Every critical table mirrors each write into a backup table that deletes never touch
  • One-click full export of the vessel's data — it stays yours, in a file you hold

What we're aiming at

The targets NEXUS is built around.

These are the design targets the platform is built and measured against — not audited results. Founder vessels help establish the real figures; we would rather show you the goal honestly than a number we can't source.
